Please help with my wireless internet!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!?

I can't connect to my wireless internet on my laptop, but it shows that my router is in range with 5 bars. When i try clicking the router to connect to it nothing happens. When i try to repair the connectio i get a message that says TCP/IP is not enabled for this connection and the action of repairing the connection could not be completed. Please help! Thanks.
