Why dont green party candidates ever win?

as a green party member i am sick and tired of being deemed as powerless now this question if for impartial people and the democrats only because i know Y!A is overrun with biased republicans who like to give smartallic remarks that are often incorrect and misinformed so the question is what do you think about what the green party stands for?
