Do Native Americans/ Alaskan Natives have a common ancestor with modern day Asian people?

When I say Asian people, I mean people from Japan, China, Mongolia, Cambodia, Laos, Taiwan, The Philippines, Thailand, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma, and other various places of that region.
