I live in new jersey and need to be emancipated, help?
I'm fifteen. I live in jersey with my step dad, mom and brother. my parents verbally abuse me they constantly tell me what a loser I am, how I have mental problems, how fat and ugly I am, and how I'm going to be nothing in life. it really takes a toll on my self esteem. I was also in a little law trouble in my freshman year of high school with marijuana so now I'm constantly called a conniving deadbeat drug addict. which I'm not drugs are not in my life at all, they also have an issue with my boyfriend who has never done anything to them but given them respect. they decided to never allow him near my house again and my step dad makes some threatening remarks about him.I'm constantly accused of things and threatened to be sent away. I'm also constantly grounded and forced to be around them all the time which is just making me miserable. even from a younger child I have had no relationship with my mother but a very mean one. in all, I'm completely unhappy and when a friends mom introduced me into the idea of being emancipated I immediately went to research it. I need to know how its done how to do it, everything. I know you have to be sixteen which I will be in march, and I know you'll have to be able to support yourself but what if I have a new stable home to go to? does that help at all? and is my reasoning good enough? please help asap. thanks so much
