Whats a great anime/manga?

have you watched FULLMETAL ALCHAMIST BROTHERHOOD (it stays faithfull to the magna so the plot of the show starts to become very different after a few episodes but they still have most of the original english cast and even more superb animation i actually like it more then the original:)INUYASHA is one of the most popular animes out there its about a halth demon and his human companions trying to collect shards of the shigon jewl in the feudal era its very funny and has lots of romance VAMPIRE KNIGHT(is a superb yet dark series with a great plot,action and touching moments and the main protagonist zero is voiced by the same voice actor of ed from fma) FRUIT BASKETS(is a great anime with lots of tear jerking moments and a great plot it doesnt have much action but it is one of the most hilarious and romantic animes i've ever seen) AVATAR(is an american anime that has great action sequences influenced martial arts styles engaging character development comedy and twists in the plot you would of never expected at first you will think its somewhat kiddish but as you watch you will see how much they push the envelope in everything only barely squeezing with there tv raitng)DGRAYMAN (i also recomend the main teen protagonist allan is so much like ed its funny it also contains a vibe that would probaly fill the void of fma but i recomend watching fmab first oh and p.s the voice actor of roy mustang is also in this and seeing the young allen and his superior argue will give you deja vu of ed and roy and all of the main male characters from each series fit your description of what you wanted and all of these shows have a love interest that slowly developes:)
