Who here thinks the idea that God gets angry is terrifying and barbaric?

I mean REALLY. An angry, jealous, vengeful God are some of the traits that Christians think their God embodies. Anyone else think this God sounds like a child? A child with a gun who's not afraid to use to for his own selfish desires?
